Do I need any background knowledge?
At this moment we don't offer any courses in Dutch, so you need to be able to understand English and you need to be able to use a computer.
Do I need programming skills?
No, programming skills are not required to follow the modules.
Do I need any art skills or do I need to be very good at drawing to attend the workshop or any of its modules?
The Orientation workshop is for beginner level, so there is no need to have art skills, but if you are good in drawing you will probably benefit from it.
I already took a (some) 3D courses. Will I waste my time with one of your workshops?
If you are already proficient in 3D Studio Max or ZBrush you want to attend an in-depth course, which we are offering soon. Check this website regularly to find out about new workshops and courses.
Which program should I join?
To find out which program you should join it is best to attend one of our open nights. There you will be able to speak to tutors and other artists. In addition you can watch them creating art, to see what you are interested in.
Do I need a portfolio to attend the open night?
No, there is no need to have a portfolio, but if you do have one and would like to show it, we will review it and give you feedback on what developers are looking for in applications.
Why should I show my portfolio?
If you would like to get feedback on what you should work on, we advise you to bring a portfolio for review.
I have a digital portfolio online/I have a printed portfolio. Which format should I bring to the portfolio review?
You can bring either a print portfolio or a digital portfolio. We will have internet set up, and can review on computers.
How do I enroll into your workshop or any of the modules?
You enroll into our programs in two steps: First by paying a registration fee of 50 EUR which covers all administrative costs, and guarantees you a seat in the module or workshop you like to attend.

In the second step you’ll pay the actual costs for the program, and return the paperwork, which you received in step 1. The costs for the programs vary depending on the module or workshop you are intending to sign up for and are listed in additional information materials you are receiving from us.
Do I have to pay a registration fee for each module?
No, you pay the registration fee only once to sign up for either the entire workshop or different modules.
What if I paid the registration fee and I decide not to enroll into the workshop or any of the modules? Will I receive the registration fee back?
No, the registration fee is a booking and administration fee, and thus non-refundable.
What if I paid the registration fee and decide not to enroll. Do I have to pay for the workshop or the modules?
No, if you decide not to enroll into our workshop or any of the modules, but paid a registration fee, you are simply not participating, thus you are not obliged to pay for the workshop. However, you also won't receive the registration fee back, as the registration fee is a booking and administration fee and thus it is non-refundable.
Do I pay less if I decide to register for multiple modules?
We offer a 16% bundle discount if you decide to register for all four (4) modules. We do not offer discounts if you register for 2 or 3 modules though.
Do I have to pay a registration fee to attend the Open Night?
No, the open night is an information evening only and attending the open night is for free. The registration fee is required only if you decide to enroll into our workshop or any of its modules.
Will I receive a receipt if I pay the registration fee?
Yes, we will provide you with a receipt that outlines your expenses.
Do I receive a certificate when I complete the workshop or any of its modules?
No, Streamline Studios is not an accredited secondary education institution and therefore does not supply collegiate credits, transcripts, or diplomas.
Will there be more Open Nights after September 1st?
When we offer the next round of courses we will be offering Open Nights again. Please check this website regularly to see what programs we are offering. We will be also offering a mailing list later, to inform you about new programs and open nights.
How do I pay if I want to enroll into the workshop or any of its modules?
After paying your registration fee in cash you will receive all documents and after that you pay for the workshop or module(s) via bank transfer.
Do I have to attend the open night if I want to reserve a seat in the workshop or any of its modules?
Yes, you need to attend the open night as we will be providing you the documents and registration papers for the modules that you decide to sign up for.
Can I send someone else to attend the Open Night and pay the registration fee for me?
No, you can only sign up to the open night on your behalf, and thus only you can attend and register for our programs.
I am under 18 years of age, can my parents sign for me?
No, we have an age limitation and it is only possible to attend the open night and enroll into our programs if you are at least 18 years of age or older.
